Dragonfly Hypnosis for Stress/Compulsive Habits

Are you stressed out? Do you often feel uneasy/unsettled? Maybe it is difficult for you to perform certain tasks when you feel this way. Perhaps you have even developed a compulsive habit as a way to cope with your stress, like hair pulling, eyelash pulling, skin pulling, etc.
Stress is closely related to fear, and like fear, it is a natural process that takes place within our bodies as we respond a perceived threat (both real and imagined). When threatened, our hearts beat faster to supply the muscles with more blood, preparing us for quick action. It is often referred to as a “fight or flight” response.
Although it is natural to have stress to supply us with motivation and energy, long term stress and frequent levels of short-term stress are dangerous. Experiencing negative stress can contribute to developing many life-threatening diseases and other behavioral issues/habits, like the habits previously mentioned.
Fortunately, hypnosis can help eliminate this stress and those habitual behaviors you may have developed as a way to cope with the stress. During our sessions, you will be in a deeply relaxed state, and that state will initiate your relaxation response. Further, learning how to achieve this relaxed state on your own will help you ward off common issues/diseases associated with high stress, and you will be able to approach life in a more relaxed, calm matter.
Also, during our sessions, we will focus on tasks you can do in your life to help you eliminate stress, tasks such as sticking to an exercise program, keeping your home less cluttered, setting boundaries with others, etc.
Sessions to reduce stress are typically grouped as three sessions. You will experience live hypnosis sessions with me, and you will also get a follow up recording(s) to listen to for 21 consecutive days. Why 21 days? Because it takes approximately 21 days to form a habit, and that is what we are trying to form, a habit of NOW having a calm, relaxed state of mind.
Please note: Hypnosis is not designed to replace treatment for certain medical conditions such as depression, manic depression, etc. If you are currently taking medication for a mental health condition, or if you are being treated for one or more mental health conditions, or if you have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, you will need a referral from your physician/mental health counselor.
